Before joining Ignition Systems, Ashley's firm engaged in clunky and unorganised marketing to win new business, throwing money into Google Adwords and paying a person to cultivate their LinkedIn platform. But it was a lot of unorganised chaos and not streamlined, hence the term clunky.
